The third game of the day saw a stacked Overseas Pros team come out strong and continue to play team ball throughout the game. The Overseas Pros were led by Peyton Siva (Louisville/NBA/DLeague) with 25 points and Jazz Ferguson (IU Southeast/Italy) scored 23 points including 7 3pt. goals. KPA #2 was led by Antonio Sullivan (Kentucky State 14) with 25 points and and 3 3pt. goals. Corey Jackson (Charleston 14) also had 14pts. for KPA #2. The game saw the return of KPA legends Nate Johnson (Louisville/Asia) who had 14 points and Leroy Hickerson (Cumberland/Mexico) who had 22 points. KPA All League performer in 2014 Chris Dowe (Bellarmine/France) had 14 points.

The second game of the day was a big time ball game that came down to the final shot. Danny Gibson (Southern Indiana/Poland) showed why he is an overseas veteran. Gibson let the clock wind down and then went 1 on 1 in a clear out situation and scored on a drive at the horn to lift Team SI to a 2 point win over a very solid KPA#1 team. Team Southern Indiana was led by current Bellarmine player Josh Derksen (Bellarmine *current) and Danny Gibson (Southern Indiana/Poland) with 22 points each. Chris Whitehead (Bellarmine 15) chipped in with 15 points, and KPA All league performer in 2014 Tenale Roland had 12. KPA #1 was led by Vance Hall (Bellarmine 14) with 30 points. Hall went to war on both ends of the floor and really played well in his first KPA game. Aaron Nance scored 19 points and was a warrior on the boards. Ulysses Thomas (Kentucky State 15) scored 13 points for KPA #1 and had 7 assists.

Game 1 of the day was a very exciting high scoring affair between two nice teams. KPA #3 pulled out a close game and was led by Carlos Mitchell (Indiana Southeast/UBA) with 25 and Jake Simpson (IU Southeast 15) with 24. Former Spalding standout Dewhon McAfee scored 19. The Indiana Generals were lead by current IU Southeast player Chris McDonald who had a monster game with 28 points. Veteran David Scott (Miami Ohio/Overseas veteran) scored 17 points and had 5 3pt. goals.

The second game of the day featured a big time match up between the defending champs Team Southern Indiana and the Overseas Pros. This game was back and forth and hotly contested from the opening tip. The game came down to a side out of bounds play with 3.7 seconds left. The Overseas Pros were down 1 and ran Jazz Ferguson off a few screens to the corner and he made an amazing three at the horn to win the game. Jazz Ferguson (IU Southeast/Italy) led the Overseas Pros with 25 points, followed by Keisten Jones (Bellarmine/Germany) with 18. Chris Dowe (Bellarmine/France) had 17 and the veteran Nate Johnson (Louisville/Asia) had 14. Team Southern Indiana was led by Darryl Baker (Lincoln Trail J.C.) with 21 points. Baker returned from an injury to have an excellent game and pick up where he left off last summer. Danny Gibson (Southern Indiana/Poland) had 19, followed by Chris Whitehead (Bellarmine 15) with 15. These two teams will play again on Thursday night at 8:30pm.

The first game of the day saw a KPA #2 team come out and shoot the ball very well and built an early lead and sustained it throughout. Antonio Sullivan (Kentucky State 14) continued his ability to score the ball and led KPA#2 with 25 points (5 3 pointers). Current Georgetown College player Tony Kimbro Jr. scored 21, and Corey Jackson (Charleston 14) scored 18 for KPA #2. KPA #1 was led by Vance Hall (Bellarmine 14) with 24 points. Hall continued his all around play in the KPA. Ulysses Thomas (Kentucky State 15) and Jomari Bradshaw (Florida A&M) scored 14 each for KPA #1.

The final game of the day saw KPA #3 pull away in the second half from the Indiana Generals. Quayshaun Hamilton (Spalding 14) led KPA #3 with 21 points and a huge second half. Dewhon McAfee (Spalding 14) scored 17 and NAIA All American Jake Simpson had 16 for KPA #3. The Indiana Generals were led Chris McDonald (IU Southeast *current) with 29 points, and Brad Smith (Indiana Northwest) with 24.

The final game of the night was interesting. The interesting part of the second game of the week between the two teams was the fact that Team Southern Indiana had two key players missing Chris Whitehead and Danny Gibson. Also 2014 MVP Antonio Ballard has been injured for the KPA, and has not played as of yet. However the Overseas Pros brought a nice squad to the game and ended up pulling away in a big fashion. Peyton Siva (Louisville/NBA/DLeague) scored 30 points and had 8 3's to lead the Overseas Pros. Alhaji Mohammed (Louisville/France) making his second ever KPA appearance and first apperance this season scored 24 points. Chris Dowe (Bellarmine/France) scored 21 and had some highlight reel dunks as usual. The veteran Nate Johnson (Louisville/Asia) scored 16. Darryl Baker (Lincoln Trail J.C.) scored 24 to lead Team SI, and Tenale Roland (Southern Indiana 15) scored 23. Current Bellarmine big man Yasin Kolo and Kegan Clark each scored 14 for Team SI. The Overseas Pros return to action Monday night at 8:30 vs. KPA #1 in their last league game. Team Southern Indiana will play the Indiana Generals at 7:30pm on Monday. The single elimination 8 team playoff will begin Tuesday.

KPA #1 came out on fire and got back to the way they played opening night in a tough two point loss to Team Southern Indiana. Aaron Nance (Louisville/Football) absolutely showed why he is wanting to go overseas and play basketball. Nance dominated the game on both ends of the floor. The versatile 6-4 forward continues to get a comparison from me to KPA legend Jeff Gibbs. Nance scored a league high for this summer 38 points including 4 3's and several highlight dunks. Ulysses Thomas (Kentucky State 15) scored 22 with 5 3's. for KPA #1. Vance Hall (Bellarmine 14) and Jomari Bradshaw (Florida A&M 14) both scored 21 for KPA #1. Jake Simpson (IU Southeast 15) led KPA #3 and continued his solid play in the KPA and scored 24. Carlos Mitchell (IU Southeast/UBA0 scored 21 for KPA #3. KPA #1 will play the Overseas Pros at 8:30 Monday in their last league game. KPA #3 will play KPA #2 in their last league game at 6:30pm on Monday in their last league game. The 8 team single elimination playoffs will begin Tuesday.

Team Southern Indiana begin to pull away big in the second half in this one. Tenale Roland (Utah State/Southern Indiana 15) scored 30 for Team SI with 8 3's. Chris Whitehead (Bellarmine 15) poured in 28. This game marked the return of 2014 MVP Antonio Ballard (Miami Ohio/Switzerland) and he scored 16 in limited minutes and Yasin Kolo (Bellarmine *Current) scored 16. Chris McDonald (IU Southeast) led the Generals with 31 points.

KPA #1 pulled out a one point victory in an absolute war to begin the KPA playoffs. Aaron Nance hit two big free throws to give to KPA #1 the lead with 2.4 seconds on the clock, and KPA #2 could not score in the final seconds. KPA #1 was lead by Jomari Bradshaw (Florida A&M) with 22 points. Aaron Nance, Ulysses Thomas (Kentucky State 15), and Vance Hall (Bellarmine 14) all scored 19 points for KPA #1. KPA #2 was led by Tyrell Means (IU Southeast) with 23 points. 

KPA #1 advances to tomorrow's semi final game vs. KPA #3 at 7pm.

The second game of the night was a huge upset with KPA #3 beating the defending champs Team Southern Indiana in overtime. IU Southeast standout Jake Simpson flat came to play in all phases of the game and led KPA #3 with 28 points. Antoine Watson (IU Southeast) scored 17 and played a great game on both ends of the floor. Quayshaun Hamilton (Spalding) scored 12 and Dewhon McAfee had 11 for KPA #3. The defending champs were led by Chris Whitehead (Bellarmine 15) with 33 points. 

KPA #3 will play KPA #1 tomorrow at 7pm.

The third game of the night saw one of the two at large teams play in the playoffs. However only one team was formed due to the fact Kenny Kings from Indianapolis could not come. Free Agency basketball pulled away in the second half in this one. Eric Mosley (St. Bonaventure/Sweden) scored 22 points to lead Free Agency. Fitzgerald White (Union 15) and AJ Slaughter (Western Ky./Greece) had 14. The Generals were led by Chris McDonald (IU Southeast) with 27. McDonald has had an impressive KPA. Free Agency Basketball will play the Overseas Pros tomorrow night in the semi-finals at 8pm in what could be a big time basketball game.

Free Agency was lead by European star AJ Slaughter (Western Kentucky/Greece) with 23 points and Eric Mosley (St. Bonaventure/Sweden) had 19. Darren White (Campbell/Erie (DLeague) had 14. Overseas Pros will play KPA #1 tomorrow in the 19th championship game.

2015 BSN SPORT Kentuckiana Pro Am Championship Night Results  OVERSEAS PROS 126 KPA #1 104

The first quarter of this one was a war. Both teams played great in the first quarter and the game was tied 28 to 28 after 1 quarter of play. Then the Overseas Pros took it to another level and pulled away in a big way. The Overseas Pros were led by Leroy Nobles (IUPUI/Mexico) with 28 points. Nobles caught fire from 3 pt. land (8 3pt. Goals made) and played great basketball. He also came up big in the semi-finals with clutch shots. 2015 KPA MVP Nate Johnson scored 26 and continued his dominate play in the KPA.
