The SBS Orlando Pro Invitational Workout/Workshop is set up to provide aspiring professional players with an honest evaluation, and valuable information to help them begin the process to becoming a pro basketball player.This event will help save you time and money in future months, as well as provide you with the information you need to pursue your professional dreams.

WHO - This event will be great for graduating seniors in the class of 2019 or players who are still trying to get a professional basketball job who want to gain information on how to go about playing pro basketball in Europe, Latin America, Asia and the United States. The event will consist of combine type drills and team play, as well as informational workshops on (Video, Player Profiles, selecting an agent, summer camps, financial expectations). The event will be held on Saturday April 20th to give you time to take this information and use it to gain employment in the 2019-20 season.

 

Date and Location - Saturday, April 20 at RDV Sportsplex (Orlando Magic Practice Facility)  8701 Maitland Summit Blvd - Orlando, Florida 32810.   10am to 4pm  (Eastern Time Zone)

 

Player Selection Process: Players will be invited to attend the showcase, as well as individual entries will be accepted, but must be approved. Individual entries should consist of a complete player profile (stats from all years of college, ht., wt., position, birthdate), and video. All applications must be received by April 22nd, with prior approval from Coach Stinnett or Coach Tinsley.

 

Camp Cost: $135 for players who are not invited (must be approved) from the Class of 2019, or other players wanting to attend the camp. The cost is $100 for players invited from the Class of 2019 (32 players invited only). The fee includes a player information packet which includes a summary of the topics covered in the workshop. About the Director/Staff: Coach Michael Stinnett has coached at all levels of the game, and has sent several players to the pro ranks. He is not an agent, but a scout and is the director of Stinnett Basketball Services. He also is the scouting director for Free Agency Basketball based out of Spain. Coach John Tinsley will help with the workout in 2018. Coach Tinsley has coached for 25 years at the high school level in Kentucky, and has been scouting for SBS the past two years. He also is a regional scout for Free Agency Basketball based out of Spain. Coach Tinsley has great knowledge of the game, and has proven to be a huge asset to SBS and Free Agency on recent scouting trips to the NBA Summer League and international camps in Las Vegas.
