TESTIMONIALS

The following are testomonials from parents, coaches (high school and college), and players about the Metro Exposure workout.

College Coaches

"Thomas More loves the event. We consistently have young men in our program that attend the Metro Exposure Camp. Some we’ll see for the first time. In other situations it will allow us to follow up with a kid during a crucial time period as it relates to recruiting.

Further, the fact that college coaches are not charged for the packet is telling of what the event is all about… placing as many undecideds as possible in an appropriate spot. So many events throughout the year overcharge college coaches for the same information that this event offers. It’s a major turn-off and it speaks to the ugly greed that AAU and showcases can become. It’s extremely refreshing to attend an event that is about the right thing… getting the young men placed.

Thanks! We’ll be back next year."

“The workout gets better and better every year. It is well organized and the talent level is very good!." Head Coach Kelly Wells University of Pikeville

"Our staff attends each year. We found two kids in Jeril Taylor and Cortez Macklin that helped us win a JC National Championship." Head Coach Randy House Rend Lake J.C.

I found All Sunshine State Conference and Florida Tech's 2nd All Time leading scorer in Jermaine Jackson at this event. Head Coach Billy Mims Florida Tech University

Enjoyed the exposure camp yesterday and the format was really good. It gives us the opportunity to see a lot of players in a short period of time in a practice type setting. Brian Hancock Kaskaskia J.C. Head Coach

It was a great event last year. We actually offered a kid a scholarship and he accepted it that day of the event. Look forward to it again.  Zach Patterson Lincoln Trail J.C. Asst. Coach

The Metro Exposure Camp that Coach Stinnett directs annually, is a small treasure here in Louisville, KY. Our foundation and Prospects AAU will send student-athletes every year. The event has helped over a dozen student-athletes add scholarship(s) as a result of their participation in the camp. Thanks for your help Coach Stinnett! Hello Coach –

I just referred a close friend and his son to your Metroexposure event for this year, and it dawned on me I never gave you guys any feedback.

My son, Robert Dence, participated last year.  He received 6 offers from the workout, 3 on the spot and 3 via telephone in the next few days.  Two were Jucos, two were D3, one was NAIA-D2 and one was NAIA-D1.

Rob was hoping basketball could be part of his college experience, and until your workout he thought his only choice was our local D3.  He had an NAIA-1 offer but the coach left for another school.  The offer was still good, but there was more uncertainty.  Ultimately, he decided to enroll at Transylvania, but he made a decision for his future based on having choices and confidence in his ability, whereas before your exposure camp he felt like he was “settling” for what was available.  At the end, we stopped taking phone calls and he chose between 10 schools that wanted him for basketball.  So far it looks like he made the right choice, he’s doing fine academically and enjoying his team.

Your camp also got an offer or two for one of my son’s AAU teammates, and for another of our local kids.  Quite a success for an hour’s workout.  Keep up the good work!

Regards,

Harry Dence
