2015 KPA Owensboro Exposure Games/Tournament June 25-28

The KPA Owensboro Tournament is open to Professional, Semi-Pro, Agent, and College teams. Teams will have to be approved by director Michael Stinnett. Initially you should email Coach Stinnett with your team name, and potential roster (michproa@aol.com). He in return will email you back with his answer. Each team should then submit registration form, roster form, and payment before June 15.

 

Team Entry: $300 Tournament Only (Double Elimination)/ $500 Exposure Games Wednesday and Thursday plus Double Elimination Tournament - Teams should have reversible jerseys or jerseys can be purchased from the KPA for $35 dollars a jersey

*Team entry can consist of agent teams, semi-pro teams,men's traveling teams and college teams (all colleges can enter except current Division 1 teams and play as a group)

 

Individual Entry: $125

 

Players who enter as an individual will be guaranteed the following:

*The opportunity to be seen by Coach Stinnett in practice and game situations. Coach Stinnett serves as a scout for several pro clubs and FIBA agents throughout the world. For more information on Coach Stinnett go to www.coachstinnett.com and click on the Pro Employment link.

*KPA Reversible Workout Jersey - All players will receive jersey.

*KPA Exposure Workout on Thursday June 25 from 9:30a.m. to 11:30a.m. - Players will be put through combine type drills and then placed on a team for Thursday night exposure games.  

*One team will be selected from the Thursday workout and game to form a team in the Tournament portion of the event, and will then play for the remainder of the weekend.

 

Format:

Thursday Morning - KPA Exposure Workout - 9:30a.m.-11:30a.m. - Individual sign ups will workout and be placed on teams for Thursday night.

Thursday Evening - KPA Exposure Games 6p.m., 7:15p.m., 8:30p.m.

*One team from Individual Registrations will be selected for the remainder of the weekend.

Friday Morning - Individual Players selected will practice from 10:30a.m. - 11:30a.m. 

Friday Evening - KPA Tournament Begins - Games at 6p.m., 7p.m., 8p.m., and 9p.m.

Saturday - Games from 9a.m. to 7p.m.

Sunday - Games from 11a.m. to 6p.m. (Finals)

 

Awards:

*This is not a money prize tournament, this event is set up for quality summer competition and exposure for aspiring professional players.

2nd Place - 2nd Place Trophy

MVP Award - Plaque - invited to KPA All Star Games July 27 and July 29

Carson Jones Sportsmanship Award - Named after long time director of the Agoga Tri-State Tournament held in Evansville, Indiana for years.
